Clinic registration money goes to the gym — coaches aren't paid automatically. When the clinic's done (or before, if you like), send each coach their share from the clinic's Coaches & Payments tab.

Send a payment#

Open Coaches & Payments
On the clinic's detail page, open Coaches & Payments and click Send Payment.

Pick the coach
Only the clinic's attached coaches appear. A coach must have a connected Stripe account and verified identity to be payable — otherwise they show as disabled with the reason.

Choose the payment type
Flat fee — enter an amount. Or Per athlete — pick the basis (Registered athletes or Marked present from the Attendance tab) and a rate; the preview shows the math and the clinic's current balance.

Add a note and send
An optional note ("Lead coach, full day") rides along. The coach is texted and emailed, and the payment appears in the panel's history.

Result

The money moves from your gym's balance to the coach's. On balance pages it shows as Clinic Payout for the gym and Clinic Payment for the coach.

Balance guardrails#

Situation	What happens
Payment exceeds what this clinic earned	You'll see the clinic's full math — collected after fees, refunds, prior coach payments — and a warning that the difference comes from the gym's general balance. You can still send it.
Payment exceeds the gym's available balance	Blocked outright. You can only send up to the gym's available balance after reserved fees.

If a payment shows “transfer failed”

Rarely, the gym side of a payment succeeds but the transfer to the coach fails. The payment row shows transfer failed with a Retry button — nothing is lost, and retrying completes it.
