Capacity and group lessons

Run sessions with more than one athlete, and understand the capacity warnings you'll see.

Updated June 4, 2026

A lesson type's capacity sets how many athletes can join one session. With capacity above one, you can run group lessons.

Building a group lesson#

When you create a lesson or add a student to one, you can include multiple athletes up to the type's capacity. Each athlete's family confirms and pays for their own place.

Capacity warnings#

If you try to add an athlete to a lesson that's already at capacity, Handspring warns you before continuing — so you can confirm the call or pick another session.

Set capacity per lesson type in your pricing settings — that's what makes group sessions possible.
