Two settings on the Availability page shape how bookings fall within your hours.
Slot length#
Slot length sets the spacing of the bookable start times you offer. Shorter slots give clients more choices; longer slots keep your day in neat blocks.
Gap prevention#
Turn on Gap Prevention and set a Maximum gap to discourage bookings that would leave a large hole in your schedule. Handspring favors times that keep your day tight, so you spend less time waiting between lessons.
In the booking calendar, the tightest times are highlighted as preferred — both you and your clients see them first.
