Track cash lessons

Paid in person? Record the lesson as cash at close-out so your history stays complete.

Sometimes a client pays you in person. You can still record the lesson in Handspring so your history and reporting stay complete — you just mark it as cash instead of charging a card.

Record a cash lesson#

  1. 1
    Open Balance
    Go to Balance and find the lesson in the Close Out queue.
  2. 2
    Choose Cash
    Select Cash as the payment method for the lesson.
  3. 3
    Close out
    Mark it paid to close out the lesson.
Result
The lesson is recorded as paid in cash — no card is charged and no transfer is made, but it counts in your history and reports.
Because cash is settled in person, it doesn't move through your Handspring balance. It's tracked for your records only.
